For power generation applications, BHEL designs, engineers, manufactures, supplies, erects and commissions boilers of any rating upwards of 30MW. For higher capacities, BHEL also offers customers the option of Once-Through type steam generators in addition to conventional natural and controlled circulation types.

Design optimization for low grade fuels

BHEL is the leading centre in India for in-house coal based Research and Development and offers customers boilers that can efficiently burn even low grade coals. BHEL has over four decades’ experience in designing boilers that can burn coals characterised by high ash, high moisture content and low volatility.
